Profile Information
Avatar
Your avatar is your visual identity in the community. You can:
- Upload a custom image
- Use your Google, GitHub, or Discord avatar if you sign in with OAuth
Username
Your username is unique and identifies you across the platform. Choose one that is:
- Easy to remember
- Professional or representative
- Without complicated special characters
Bio
Tell the community about yourself:
- Your areas of interest
- Your experience
- Projects you’re working on
Privacy Preferences
Private Messages
You can configure who can send you messages:
- Everyone: Any user can contact you
- Followers only: Only users you follow can message you
- No one: Disable private messages
Email Notifications
Configure which notifications you want to receive:
- Replies to your posts
- Mentions
- New followers
- Forum updates
Security
Change Password
We recommend changing your password periodically. Use a password that:
- Is at least 8 characters long
- Combines letters, numbers, and symbols
- Is unique to this platform
Active Sessions
Review and close sessions on devices you no longer use.
